'icebreak20x20' is a fictitious pecha kucha event sponsored by the micronation of Flandrensis—a group of people who believe in the need to preserve our climate and protect Antarctica. The design for the website is based on a visual representation of "melting ice sheets" and depicted through grid-like icons, images, and interactions. The font, 'Ribbedebie,' was custom designed for the event, reflecting melting and destruction.

This project was designed just as Covid-19 struck worldwide. The pandemic is clearly linked to the climate crisis and it awakened in me a strong desire to raise awareness through my work.
